Global Raw Material Manager (f/m/x)

Global Raw Material Management is a dynamic and technical department established to drive efficiency and innovation in our global raw material portfolio. The main objective is to provide expert technical support to internal stakeholders, conduct in-depth analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities, and unlock synergies across the company.

 

Tasks

  • Analyze and manage the global raw material portfolio to ensure optimal efficiency and quality
  • Lead and execute technical projects on an international level
  • Collaborate closely with local and global raw material management teams, R&D, procurement, and quality management to align strategies and processes
  • Support the procurement department in adapting to market trends and fluctuations
  • Act as an expert for all raw material-related inquiries and decisions
  • Develop, implement, and monitor globally aligned processes
  • Consolidate and harmonize raw materials across regions
  • Identify synergies for cost optimization and portfolio improvement


Skills

  • Technical degree with a focus on the food industry (e.g., food engineering, a master’s in food technology, or an equivalent qualification)
  • Initial work experience in the food industry is an advantage
  • Good Excel skills, SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in project management
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills are an advantage
  • High willingness to travel internationally
  • Enjoys working in an agile/dynamic corporate environment
  • Proactive mindset: you take initiative, think ahead, and actively contribute to improvements
  • Passion for optimizing processes and driving efficiency and innovation

We offer a market-competitive salary with a willingness to significantly exceed the standard, depending on qualifications and experience (Collective agreement salary: gross EUR 2,741.61 per month).
