Key Details

  • Duration:            1 year (January 2026 to January 2027)
  • Work Location:   Primarily remote – occasional on-site meetings at our Salzburg office by arrangement
  • Working Hours:  From 20 hours per week, up to full-time (38.5 hours) 
  • Compensation:  €1,600 gross per month (based on full-time)

 

Tasks

  • Support supplier engagement and upskilling for CO data/target setup, embedding responsible sourcing in tendering and procurement processes, in close collaboration with procurement leadership and the procurement team.
  • Work actively on document management in the supplier project, helping to implement automation and enabling automated data evaluation.
  • Conduct maturity assessments for Scope 3 reduction potential and help define business cases for supplier CO₂ certifications and high-risk projects.
  • Analyze and interpret CO and energy data to inform decision-making and track progress toward decarbonization targets.
  • Assist in scaling up green energy analyses, including PPAs assessments, network optimization for decarbonization, and fleet electrification analysis, ensuring clear business cases and robust data.
  • Contribute to ongoing decarbonization data management for CO Scopes 1–3, integrating data with Operations and site leads, and supporting the development and implementation of product carbon footprint (PCF) tools for key customers.
  • Project support with cross-functional teams (procurement, quality, regulatory, sustainability, R&D/commercial).

 

Skills

  • Completed master´s degree in the field of environmental sciences (ESG topics, decarbonization/carbon footprint) or procurement
  • Interest in ESG topics and sustainable food production
  • Experience or strong interest in document management systems and process automation, especially for supplier-related workflows.
  • Ideally, knowledge in project management/change management
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and interpretation (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools preferred) advantageous
  • Structured, proactive work approach
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
