Tasks
- Documentation and verification of raw material imports, including checking import declarations and customs clearances submitted by brokers for accuracy and completeness
 - Communication with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments
 - Maintenance and management of customs-relevant master data (commodity codes, customs tariffs, origin information)
 - Review and application of preferential arrangements (e.g. EUR.1, supplier declarations)
 - Advising and supporting the Swiss subsidiary on customs-related matters
 - Coordination and support during customs audits and internal audits
 - Monitoring legal changes in customs and foreign trade law and implementing them within the company
 - Optimization of customs-related processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
 - Collaboration with purchasing, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure smooth import processes
 
Skills
- Completed commercial education (e.g. HAK, HAS) or relevant vocational training
 - Initial professional experience in trade compliance / customs is an advantage
 - Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a plus
 - Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
 - Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
 - Quick understanding of complex processes and regulatory contexts
 - High level of initiative and sense of responsibility
 - Strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration
 - Organizational talent and the ability to set clear priorities

The minimum gross salary for this position is € 2.603,59 per month on a full-time basis. We offer a compensation package that significantly reflects your skills and experience.
