Sustainability Management Intern (f/m/d) - starting July 2026

Are you studying alongside your job or have you already completed your degree and are now looking to gain hands-on experience in sustainability/ESG within an international environment, while actively contributing to the design and implementation of exciting ESG initiatives? Key Facts

  • Duration: starting July 2026 for a period of 1 year
  • Work location: primarily remote – attendance at the company site in Salzburg by agreement (approx. 1–2 times per month)
  • Working hours: minimum 30 hours up to full-time
  • Compensation: gross €1,600.00 per month based on full-time employment

 

Tasks

  • Support in coordinating ESG‑related customer requests for documents and data (e.g. policies, questionnaires, certificates, etc.)
  • Contribution to the annual EcoVadis ESG-Rating submission as well as the annual ESG reporting
  • Maintenance, structuring, and updating of the central ESG document handbook (policies, manuals, guidelines, training materials)
  • Support of internal and external sustainability communications (e.g. intranet posts, articles, website content)
  • Active involvement in the coordination, support, and further development of the global sustainability-community (“ESG Champions”)
  • Support in ESG risk management, particularly in relation to deforestation‑free supply chains (EUDR) & Supply Chain Due Dilligence
  • Close collaboration with internal departments and international teams

 

Skills

  • Ongoing or completed studies in sustainability, environmental management, food technology, business administration, or a related field
  • Ideally, basic knowledge of project management and/or change management
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in ESG topics and sustainable food production
  • Analytical mindset with a structured and proactive way of working
